| Recent Review: | | My husband and I lived at these apartments for about 3 years until we recently moved-out when we bought a house. Not only did they charge us for things that were already bad when we moved in (for example, the carpet was really old and badly stained when we moved in, but that didn't stop them from charging us for "staining" it when we moved out) but they apply the deposists you give them for gate remotes to the total cleaning desposit. For example, we gave them $150 cleaning deposit on move-in and paid them a total of $110 deposit for 3 gate remotes. When we moved out we only got $71 back. I thought there must have been a mistake because a remote deposit is suppose to be returned to you when you return the remote -- oh no, not at Edgewater. They lump it in to your cleaning deposit so they can take it from you when you move out. (Also, the office ppl talk down to you when you try to question them about anything.)Last word: Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT look at the pictures they have posted on the apartments on the internet and think these are true representations. This place is a broken-down mess with duck poop everywhere and dirty, old apartments. The fact that they call it "Luxury Apartments" is more than a laugh -- it's a flat out, bold-faced LIE. They should be ashamed of themselves.Don't do it!!!! |
