| Recent Review: | | I have lived here for over three years, in those three years I have watched this place dwindle down to the sad complex that it is. The management changes constantly. They are unresponsive. The maintenance is great ifthe poor guys aren't overbooked. I realize that nobody loves their apartment, but I used to love this place. The children are out of control and are everywhere. It was the only option I had because I am a dog owner. I pay rent for my pooch and he has to be quit but the kids are allowed to run crazy. I hope the owners can revamp this place form a village of idiots to an oasis. |

| Recent Review: | | Take your rent $$$ elsewhereFrom: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/23/2005Years at this apartment: 2003-2004I lived at Country Woods awhile back. Thank God I'm not there anymore. Here is everything that SUCKS about this place:*So noisy being by the freeway and car-wash: Don't plan on sleeping in on the weekend with all the noise and the paper-thin windows. I ran a loud fan everynight just to block out the noise, and I'm a heavy sleeper.*Maintenance people are perverts: Saw one of them watching my friend and I in the pool and he came into my apartment w/out notice when I was just waking up and in my little pajamas.*Mold: Anytime it rained there wasContinued below...mold seeping through my walls and when I asked them to clean it up they just painted over it.*The carpets are gross: When I moved in the carpet looked nice, but after a week of walking around all the stains starting coming back out - HUGE black spots everywhere.*Stoners: I can't even tell you how many time I called the police to report kids parked in the dark corners under the freeway smoking weed and doing who knows what else!*Car-Ports: They are literally falling apart-every single beam is cracked down the middle and the management says they can't replace them because they have aspestus.*Landscaping: It's like you live in a dark and dreery forest! The running creeks are OK until you go down by the gazebo where theres like 1000000 mosquitos......there is a lot more I could say....there is slim pickins' in Brea when is comes to apartments, but don't settle for Country Woods. It's horrible. Not worth the price considering everytime you renew your rent they raise it $100.I really hope this helps your living decision - trust me there is a lot nicer apartments in surrounding areas like Chino Hills and West Brea off of Brea Blvd. |

| Recent Review: | | I really like this apartment complex. It is always very clean and well-kept. My studio apartment is way cute, and they put brand new appliances/carpet/tiling when I moved in {they do that every time for a new tenant}. I have only had one problem since I moved in 3 months ago, and it was fixed the next day {very impressive}. The laundry room is HUGE, and I have never had to wait, even when I need to do 4-5 loads of laundry! The only thing I don't like is that people keep to themselves here. For some that would be a plus, because I have never heard a peep from my neighbors, but for me that is a bit of a downer, cuz I've really only met one person in my entire complex. But oh well...that's the least of it!I have two assigned spots for my apartment, so I have never had a problem with parking.Anyways, I would certainly suggest living here. It is a great. The manager Lisa is a DOLL. |
